I've played through Gw's 2 times and love. But I must admit being an older gamer that the community is aweful. With out a monthly fee you have so many kids playing and objection is to ruin the game.

When I first heard about the no monthy fee, self contained zones I thought great. I do come from Eq2 and CoHs. I had 6 friends who played with me and they have all given up. I just think over the long haul this game won;t be like diablo 2 and have a hugh community for years.

I guess your saying (if your still reading) how do they ruin the game. Well, they drop out your groups, Don't heal/attack same target, or otherwise care about the people they play with. As a single player game, this game is awesome. But as a muilti-player online game its not very good. Also you have the same people winning in HoH over and over. Ncsoft did an aweful job of explaning what the game is about. People still buying 100k weapons when u can make a PvP with ALL THE SAME stat items. Like Lum the mad said "The top 10% will own this game" and its true...As always...this is my 2 cents.
I don't mean I dont like the game.. I just don't feel that game companies can turn a nice profit with an online game that has no monthly fee and a played mostly by little kids. BTW...There are so many hacks for this game its unbeleivable.

This game will be around for years as long as they keep giving patches. Much like Diablo 2, there are enough battle twinks out there that will play the game for as long as they can for free (and mommy and daddy pay for the expansions).

They target everyone imo, as long as they have player
